Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your waffle maker to medium-high heat. Let it get really hot for about five minutes.
  • Mix the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Whisk everything together well.
  • Beat the eggs in a separate large bowl until they’re slightly frothy. Add the cream cheese and melted butter, then whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the shredded cheese and chopped chives. Don’t overmix—a few lumps are totally fine.
  • Spray your waffle maker with cooking spray or brush with a little oil. Pour about 1/3 cup of batter into the center.
  • Close the lid and cook for about four to five minutes. The waffle should be golden brown and crispy around the edges.
  • Remove carefully with a fork or silicone spatula. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  • Serve immediately while hot, or let them cool completely before freezing for later.
